It blocks your shots/vision/callouts, etc. Just kinda unnecessarily annoying. Keep it a vision mess up, but let us shoot through it/see people's names through it?

If you turn into a zombie (except because of fast zombies, from what I've seen), fast zombies still target you, and can still cause you to turn. This also causes you to heal fully and remain in the same place, which is pretty broken. It's happened twice to me, but I forgot to screenshot it the second time it happened.

So I just got M16 Fanactic achievement and title for using a mac10 (Eerie Mac10 and Mage class as a T). Kills from the round when I got it in logs:
