Turning zombies back to the players they once were.
Posted by: Echidnah - 09-29-2018, 05:16 PM - Forum: Bug Reports - Replies (1)

If you manage to succesfully bring someone back as a zombie and tranq them they turn into T's that can use guns unless they get infected during or right before the tranq then they will stay as a zombie and get their health back. The people who helped me figure this out are Pringles Can, Lord of Darkness, and Ultrakooch. If they manage to get credits they can also spend them. (I say we keep this). It ruins your karma.

  Necromancery's zombies and one-hit infections.
Posted by: Macha - 09-29-2018, 03:18 PM - Forum: Buffs, Nerfs, and changes. - Replies (2)

Necromancery is a fun class, but it feels incredibly powerful. Specifically in the zombies it creates. The zombies can infect with a single hit, and that's an outright death sentence in the few seconds you have to find a cure and usually there's nobody there to cure you. It's also difficult to know if you've been infected.

I would like to propose two of three changes, to be applied to both human and NPC zombies:

1: I'd like a hud effect for when you've been infected, and maybe a timer counting down before you become a zombie. I don't know if there is one now but it's really non-obvious that you've been infected in some way.

2: I'd like zombies to have their damage buffed slightly and be required to kill their target in order to create another zombie.

OR

3: I'd like to have zombies infection be a %chance that goes up the lower the health of the target is.

If 2 is adopted, it eliminates the tactic of "float and sing" zombies where you only have to hit a large amount of people once in order to convert more and more zombies.

If 3 is adopted, it eliminates the same tactic while also enabling human zombies to be a bit more strategic with their takedowns.

I'm open to more suggestions, but overall it feels very unfair to play against necromancer unless you've got a hyper-competent detective who also gets priest from the RNG classes or deliberately buys cure, neither of which is exactly very common.

  Making Lobby Kiddo-Friendly.
Posted by: Man - 09-29-2018, 07:40 AM - Forum: Suggestions - Replies (25)

I recommend we remove the level cap on lobby. I know I advocated this a while back when some friends of mine had issues gaining access to lobby, and I was met with arguments like "This'll just open it up to trolls" and things similar to that. Luckily, however, the level cap was reduced to 5, and this was prior to the changes we made to make leveling easier.
Since then, the lobby hasn't been changed in any significant way other than be more inviting to lower levels. I can't tell you how many times I've seen a level 1 join lobby, get kicked, and then I never see them again. As a result, I recommend we change the lobby to be universally accessible to all players and make the player cap slightly higher, or at the very least, lower the level requirement to level 2 or 3, and make the lobby redirect players to the TTT server after a short delay and a few messages that display on their screen.

Excel's idea. Good deal.

Survive and whether it should stay or not.
Posted by: Macha - 09-28-2018, 05:55 PM - Forum: Suggestions - Replies (15)

I'll make this short and simple: Why do we still have Survive? Nobody wants to play it and asking around for a survive group gets you laughed at by most people. I feel like we should just remove it since it's one of the most disliked events, even compared to Grim's Labyrinth. Or make it able to be solo'd for people who are bored. In order to prevent one guy from hogging the event server make it so that survive solo can be booted by other people doing events. Give them a bonus if they do get booted or something?

I dunno. It'd be something for solo players to do when nobody wants to do events.

  Halloween Suggestions
Posted by: Shadow_man43 - 09-27-2018, 02:01 PM - Forum: Suggestions - Replies (17)

Halloween is around the corner, so I thought I share my suggestions.

Weapons:

Poltergeist
Primordial Shotgun
Accuracy: -30%
Clip: -6

Damage: +25%
Firerate: +30%

Mobility: -10%
Stability: -60%

Trait: Upon a rightful kill with one shot, your mobility and reload speed goes up by +20%
If you don't get a rightful kill, your mobility and reload speed decreases by -10%

Nightmare
Godlike M4A1-S(Base Weapon: M16)
Accuracy: +15%
Damage: +20%
Firerate: +30%

Mobility: -5%
Stability: +10%
Reload Speed: -20%
Deploy Speed: -5%

Trait: Has a 1 in (10 - 20) chance to give the target nightmares. (The target will start to see things and hear things.)
If you get a rightful headshot kill, your next clip will not let the target to speak (no voice chat, for 15 seconds) and slow them down. (-8% Mobility, and this does not stack.)

Haunted
Primordial Enhanceable Tier
Accuracy: +10% - +20%
Clip: -2 - +3
Damage: +15% - +30%
Firerate: +10% - +20%

Mobility: -5% - +5%
Stability: -10% - +15%
Reload Speed: -10% - +10%
Deploy Speed: -15%
Trait: Has a 1 in (10 - 19) chance to make the target's vision blurry

Ectoplasm
Legendary Tier
Accuracy: +10%
Clip: +2
Damage: +10%
Firerate: +10%

Mobility: -15%
Stability: -20%
Reload Speed: -10%

Hatred
Godlike Mini-uzi
Accuracy: +20%
Damage: +5%
Firerate: +20%

Mobility: -10%
Stability: +20%
Reload Speed: -20%
Deploy Speed: -10%

Trait: Has a 1 in (10 - 20) chance to go on a rampage. (If proc your mobility will be boosted by +10%, your damage will be boosted by +10%, and your firerate will be boosted by +5%. This will last for 10 seconds, once the timer is up, you will go back to normal, but your mobility will go down by -10%, and your Accuracy will decrease by 20% when you are in the cooldown period. This cooldown period will last 20 seconds.)

Slayer
Godlike Double Barrel Shotgun (Base weapon: Shotgun)
Accuracy: +10%
Clip: -6
Damage: +25%
Firerate: +20%
Mobility: +10

Stability: -30%
Reload Speed: -40%
Deploy Speed: -10%

Trait: Has a 1 in (9.4 - 14.4) chance to make you go berserk. (If proc, you will be able to punch everyone to death, dealing 25 damage every time you punch someone. You will also gain +20 Mobility as well, but you can't use any of your guns except your fist when you are in berserk. This last 15 seconds, and when the timer is up you will gain all of your weapons back but you would lose -40 hp.)

Melee:

Scythe
Unlikely Melee
Damage: +22% - +19%
Firerate: +10% - +5%

Mobility: -20%

Bloody Sledge Hammer
Primordial Melee
Damage: 25%
Firerate: -10%
Mobility: -20%

Range: +15%

Machete
Primordial Melee
Damage: 30%
Firerate: -25%
Mobility: +5%
Range: -20%

Possessed Hatchet
Godlike Melee
Damage: 17%
Firerate: 20%
Mobility: 10%
Range: 15%

Ability: If you hold right click, it will charge up, the more you charge up the hatchet, the farther the hatchet goes when you throw it. If you hit the target, the hatchet will come back to you. If you missed the target, you will take 10 damage, and the hatchet will not come back to you.(Meaning you have to go over and pick it back up to use it) (This only deals 30 damage if its fully charged)

Miscellaneous:

Orb of Souls
Godlike Orb
This orb is used to capture lost souls, but it is broken.
Every time you get a rightful kill, the orb gains +10 charges.
The maximum amount of charges in this orb is 60 charges.
Once the orb is fully charged you can use it to get a total of 150 Health, or you can use it as a grenade to deal 80 damage.
If you use the orb as a way to get health, or to deal damage, the orb will lose all of it's charges and you won't be able to charge it up again.

Survivor's Shoe
Primordial Misccellaneous
This shoe seems to be possessed...
If have 30% of you health left, your tenacity grows. (You will gain 15% more mobility)

Pumpkin
Primordial Misccellaneous
This pumpkin is ready for harvest!
Mobility: -10%
(You can use this to throw at people to deal 30 damage, you can throw up to 10 Pumpkins)
