I thought you were joking when you said only members and above can play videos. That's stupid. I've been here longer than nearly 80-90% of our current playerbase. The member rank isn't supposed to give any power whatsoever, meant more as a rank to signify respect and to represent the server. That's how it's always been. The closest thing they've ever had to that was Lobby beta and the Launcher Beta.
Before any of you say "Just re-apply for member", shut up. I shouldn't have to apply just to play videos and watch them with friends

It's because members should more-or less be trusted. It's that way so we don't have to micromanage every single person who may or may not buy VIP with coins and have nothing to lose by playing stupid stuff on the screen.

I highly doubt that would ever happen, but even if it did, just punish them, done. Easy solution. I also doubt anyone who spends enough time to get to lobby level will just say "fuck it" and start playing porn.

You clearly don't know people on the internet.. I've been doing this a long time, give people an inch, they take a mile. This update wasn't supposed to give staff too many more things to manage than they already have, thus why members or higher can play. Everyone can watch, but only they can play.
It's not about powers or anything. It's about trust and wanting to minimize the bullshit our staff members have to deal with.
Oh yea. I forgot to mention that + it being reduced to 25% damage instead of 55. Although I did mention that in discord or the shoutbox a few days ago.
