Asuna not paying his loans

#1
Steam Name of Offending Player(s):Asuna

Steam ID of Offending Player(s):STEAM_0:1:87036960

Map the event happened on:N/A

Date of event:9/22/19-Now

What Happened?:He asked me to loan 80k on 9/22 and a few days later I loaned him 20k more for him to purchase tradable vips on market to help him pay me back to get rusty keys and fish, about a week later he asked me to loan another 85k to him and I said sure as I had no reason to believe he wouldn't pay me back. When I gave him that loan I told him I want my money back within that week and he keeps making excuses why he doesn't have the money and says that he is busy even though he still plays ttt and other games on steam. He has lied to me before and said he was "tired" and "had papers to write" but then logs on anyway as soon as he finds out the new monthly was out. He constantly tries to guilt trip me into not reporting him by claiming we're "friends".

Witnesses:None but apparently he begs for loans a lot

I'm not sure if you have some kind of idea that stuff like this is a bannable offense or what? Nowhere in the rules, or anywhere else, does it say that you can give people loans and if they refuse to pay you back, staff/brass will do something about it. This is why you should only give loans to people you fully trust and know will pay you back. On any other online game can you report someone for something like this? Maybe something will be done but it seems to be a common misconception among the community that these types of things are covered by FRG when they actually aren't.

I'm talking about money loans. Items are different. It's easy to return a single gun or item to someone if the other person tries to steal it. Coins on the other hand aren't so simple. Usually if someone takes a loan on coins they spend them. Is brass supposed to spawn more coins into the economy for the person who gave the loan?

i would think it would be handled the same way as items since coins are somewhat items too. they are loaning/ temp trading and if they cant return the money then they would get some kind of punishment.

Example: give them a week to return the money or maybe a 3 day ban or trade ban, they could try to sell the items they have to return the money or do dailies, events to get the money that is owed, and if they cant return within the week then they get a punishment. if they cant return the coins within another week then they get a bigger punishment.

(my input but from what i see a loan is the same as a temp trade.)

If he's doing 5050s with an amount of coins he couldve paid you back with thats pretty scummy, but also this is the problem with coin loans. It's not something you can just demand back, because if they were borrowing money, it was likely cause they were gonna spend it immediately. 300k is kind of a lot to pay back in 2 weeks, at least if you're broke. It does seem like he's avoiding it though. I'd give him more time and a warning that he needs to pay back his loans, its easy to see if he's spending coins on 5050s/other trades. I don't think he should be forced to donate or sell everything he has just to pay it back, he just needs a reminder that it should be paid back sooner rather than later.

I don't usually add to topics like these but I've known asuna via a different TTT server and uh
yeah, recently I've learned their...history so to speak
their long history of begging me and other people for coins to borrow or items to give or rusty keys to unbox with and generally not being well-respected by the community

Featuring such moments as:
The time Asuna attempted to offer a 3rd party trade for my Bloodsurge, which is very not allowed iirc
this also includes the time they begged me to give them a rusty key for free, which they then repeated until I demanded them to stop

I can confirm that is indeed asuna in Discord, by the way; mainly by how they woke me up at almost 2am to joyously inform me of their incredibly rare unbox and when they admitted it one time in #trade-channel in the FRG discord while trying to sell a godlike

I'm not expecting punishments to occur but I figured I'd add to the topic at hand here in case anyone's doubting the nature of asuna

Just to clarify I don't want brass to spawn in the coins or anything like that, if that were to happen every time situations like this happened the economy would be ruined. I'd like for him to be punished and for him to be forced to give me his coins he gets until he reaches the amount he owes me. Every time he gets 50k or something like that he instantly gambles it over and over until he loses it, if this pattern continues I will never get my coins back. I'd just like to post this on here so that everyone is aware of the situation and in hopes that someone could help me to make sure he actually pays it back. Every time I try to talk to him about the loan he asks for more and more days, even if he had the coins the day before and just didn't bother paying it to gamble or buy rusty keys or w/e.

I mean you took the risk letting someone borrow coins in hope that they would pay it back... Asuna should be holding himself accountable to pay back the coins not staff
Minehuis: Pancakes
Rangerdanger0: Waffles
