Because if I market it, then I won't people to see people give me offers, or even know if it is too much. And forum space? Please, I'm sure there are worse things than this that take space lol.

Tbh selling things on the market and selling things the usual way is fairly balanced, by selling it to another person you lose 0 profit but it's harder to find a trade and market just simply spins that around where you make less but easier to sell... So I have no problem with the latter...
