The way he worded the keys part wasn't the easiest way to come to that result. I mean, just in general, we've kind of lived with it for the longest time. Keys don't need buffs (minus tier VI), and scrolls are never getting a loot buff. Don't necessarily care for leveling just to get "obtained by" message if that's the case. Keys are going to be zoned out pretty soon by crafting anyway.
If you're going to try to force a "obtained by" message with something other than crate opening, Brass is also going to have to do it for events, crate recycler weapons, and other obscure methods of obtaining.
