My build is a 500 dollar piece of shit from best buy that isn't meant for gaming at all.
Can still a lot of games at lowest quality. All source games at highest quality.

Been planning to upgrade for about a year.
Here it is:

CPU: AMD FX-8350
CPU Cooler: Corsair H100i
Motherboard: MSI 970 Gaming
RAM: The 8 GB I have in my current PC
HDD: WD Blue 1TB along with the 1TB drive in my current PC
GFX: EVGA Geforce GTX 970
Power Supply: Corsair 600W 80+ Bronze
Chasis: Phanteks Enthoo Luxe Full ATX

I've got a 5 year old rig with 4 gigs of ram, an old mother board, a 3.2 dual core pentium d940 that I'm overclocking to 4.4, and a 2 gb nividia card. Plays whatever I need it to.

old ass mother board is the GA-73VM-S2 and the video card is a geforce gt 610.
