Help me build a PC pls

#1
So I'm tired of using a laptop for gaming and Im looking to invest in a PC and I wanted to build one myself instead of buying a pre-built but I need some help and I was hoping someone here could help me out. I have a budget of about $1,000

Literally just wanna be able to run games like Skyrim on the highest settings and run it smoothly

You aren't going to get the best experience with only $1k.

If you're set on $1k, then try either looking at what other people are posting on https://www.reddit.com/r/buildapc/ or you could even post your own list and people will judge if you could do better.

1k isn't a bad budget at all. Unless you can just buy whatever you want you're probably not going to get the "best" experience. I don't really know what you want aside from how much you can spend so I'll just show what I had built a couple years ago. Still does a good job with pretty much everything. Is around 1k but I'm sure someone a bit more experienced with this can nit pick it and find similar parts for a better budget. Idk how else to help pretty much so here

The worst part of that is you spend $100 on a keyboard.

For very cheap but a1 keyboard and mouse I reccomend this bundle. It's worked for me for months and the mouse is great.

A 144hz monitor is kinda overkill for that gpu / cpu combo that won't push nearly that high in anything outside of csgo.

Well we don't know details on what you are looking for, like what games you are going to play, if you want to over lock, want upgradability, if you want to stay 1080p or go up to 4k eventually
