Have you ever been banned and why: No because I am a good boi
Why would you like to be promoted?: I want to help out the community because I have had a great time in the (relatively) short time I've spent on the server and I want to make sure that everyone else can have a great time without worried about being RDMed
Why do you think we should promote you?: We will need more staff with the large number of moat mans that are joining our server. I have extensive experience staffing (such as using death scenes and logs to get a conclusive idea on what happened) and know the rules very well.
Do you have any administrative experience: I was a mod for ~6 months (1000 hours) on a dying server called moat.gg
Do you agree to FRG's policy on applications(yes or no): Ye
(By agreeing above you are agreeing that you understand you are not entitled to said promotion, and that we have all rights to deny or approve the application
for any reason we see fit, you agree to not stir up any trouble if the application outcome is not your desired outcome.
Failing to abide by this can result in a full demote, or perma-denial.)
Time played on servers?(!time username to check): 134 hours on TTT, 32 on Lobby.
Where did you hear about this server?: I originally found it 2 years ago through searching for enjoyable TTT servers, I came back a little bit ago after missing this server.
Have you ever been banned and why?: No, I have not.
Why do you want to join?: I want to be a member as I want to be a regular part of the community, coming back here and being a member is a honor to me. Although I will not get any "powers" I would be more than happy to be a role model who helps people understand the server better.
Referred by: No-one.
Additional Details:I will admit that 2 years ago when I was originally here I was a terrible person to everyone, I do apologize for how I acted back then. But recently since I've come back I've had no incidents at least major with people, sure I have made a few reports, but most of them were resolved with just understanding that there was an accident. I believe that I am capable of holding the position of member now and I hope that the community is willing to have me.
M1: Shoot Snowball. Direct hit causes Ice Walk. 2 Second cooldown.
M2: Showball Spray. Shotgun-like spray of snowballs. 15 Second cooldown.
Shift (Hold): One-Horse Open Sleigh: Glide slowly in the direction pointed until button is released. Any player you collide with receives moderate knockback and Ice Walk. Lasts up to 10 seconds. 15 Second cooldown.
M1 + M2: Blizzard. Summons a small orb that ascends into the air. After a few seconds, the orb halts mid-air and locks onto any visible players, firing snowballs indiscriminately at them for a few seconds before disappearing. 1 Minute cooldown.
Crouch (Hold to Charge): Christmas Massacre: Upon Crouching for 3 Seconds, Santa will begin to charge his ability (read: super saiyan). Santa must charge for 10 Seconds before the effects of this ability are granted. While charging, Santa is immobile and screams, announcing his location. If Santa receives at least 2,000 damage while charging, the charging stops and a 40 Second cooldown is issued. If, however, Santa charges for the full amount of 10 seconds, he gains the following effects for 30 Seconds:
1. 1 second cooldown reduction on M1 ability.
2. Refreshes all cooldowns.
3. Immunity to DoT/traits
Once 30 seconds have passed, ability ceases and a 2 minute cooldown is issued
Passive Ability: Snowmen Creation. If any player is killed by Santa while affected by Ice Walk, in their place a Snowman will be summoned. The Snowman is immobile, and fires homing snowballs periodically. They require 500 damage to be destroyed.
Seems I have gotten through a fair few servers, but this place is new and shiny so I want to see what it is all about.
Hello, I am Pups! Or Charlotte in the real world.
3D Artist, Pretty laid back but also pretty opinionated. Is that a bit of a juxtaposition? Oh well. A bit like marmite, like or hate me
I am basically an old woman now, noisy af and very sarcastic, but I honestly don't have any real bite (unless its towards people who are nasty/rdm/try to ruin peoples game.)
I look forward to trying out your server! Esp as I'm moving to a new flat soon away from any family or friends, so while I have some fab friends from other servers, i would love to get to know a few more people. Maybe here that'll work.
This place doesn't have an EU server right? So I will have to just see how well my new internet will be whee.
This is mainly for newer players. With the new influx of players in the community and a lot of new players being confused with how the server works, we need a better way to explain how this server works. The server has so many features which easily overwhelms new players. Majority of the time older players explain how to use the inventory, what are keys, and other things which is fine but it's just not efficient. The https://forerunnergaming.org/help/ is a pretty helpful site but not a lot of new players know about it and the help button is just a small icon that people rarely notice when they open the iventory. There needs to be a clearer indicator on how to get help.
Suggestions:
-Maybe have a tour guide video for lobby or large signs posted on each area and npc to let new players know what there is to offer.
-Have a Motd message similar to the new boss rush message whenever new players join the lobby/ttt.
>The Motd message can be the website i said above and maybe have some of Beebee's guides in there also (shoutout to Beebee for those guides).
-Have a progression system that allows players to unlock certain features whenever they "mastered" the previous one.
> You can make it sort of like a beginner's quest and reward them for exploring each section. For example, whenever someone has familiarized themselves with the coinshop (ie Buy 10 crates or items), they unlock the marketplace and earn 1000 coins. Creating quests like these can help new players get started in the right path and also keep them busy besides wandering around ttt not knowing what to do.
Those are my thoughts right now and to the new moat players who just joined, welcome and I hope you enjoy your stay here.
