Awhile back, Brass posted a video in discord where he could freely place an item in an unnamed container wherever he wanted and it stayed there ant it had the caption "Soon."
Every since that post, I've been coming up with several quality of life updates that Backpacks and Badges could really use.

Lets get the obvious stuff out of the way;
1. Give us the feature you teased where you could freely move around items in your backpack.
2. Let us stack items into a backpack that is full, but contains the same kind of item (For Ex, you cant stack coins into a full backpack EVEN THOUGH there's a coin stack already present inside of it)
3. Let us auto-sort a backpack through button or automatically by; Rarity (Asc/Desc.), Stack Size (Asc/Desc), Alphabetical Order (Asc/Desc) etc

Now the stuff I thought of that would make backpack management
1. Whitelist/Blacklist. When enabling a bag to auto-contain items, there should be a Whitelist or Blacklist so you can choose what items OR rarities should/shouldn't go in
2. Let Challenge/Discord badges be put into a badge pouch. I know they can contain items, but so can FRG Steamgroup and Donator badges and they can be put into pouch too.
3. Give us more options for UI themes. It's been years and there's like 7 different UI themes that you can choose from.

I was using the scattershot today and I honestly feel as if it's just another weapon for innocents to one-shot traitor and make them feel miserable. My scattershot isn't even leveled and already I feel like I'm ruining people's day. On a traitor round, the gun is balanced and requires you to execute one or two innocents at a time or be overwhelmed. It's great for that. But the downside is that it's loud and you're out of a magazine after two shots, giving an opening for an innocent or detective to close the gap and kill you before you reload.

However, on an innocent or detective round, this isn't an issue. You can unload both shots with no repercussions and even instantly kill a traitor in one shot, even with the armor damage mitigation. You can do that with a normal shotgun if you hit every bullet, but the scattershot has eight individual bullets that are extremely accurate and have great range in a set pattern, especially in a close space like indoors. I have consistently had my traitor rounds ended on maps like this where I have no choice but to approach an innocent or detective using the scattershot, and died with no surprise. I legitimately am trying to avoid engaging people using the gun because I know I'll die.

Now, I know there's going to be people opposed to this, because they just discovered the gun and want to have fun with it, but I feel the range and damage should be lowered in favor of giving it a significantly faster reload speed and deploy time to allow it to be a stronger gun overall, while lowering the burst damage of it. The deploy speed will help swapping to and from your secondary, which you'll be doing a lot assuming you need to finish someone off or swap back from your secondary in the middle of a gunfight, while the reload makes it more reliable overall and more realistic that you'll be able to use it as a traitor to engage more than one innocent.

I don't know how everyone else feels, but I know at least a number of people that are legitimately not playing TTT right now until the use of the gun dies down. Hopefully it's changed for the better, because it's not fun to play against right now.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE REMOVE THE DESPAIR FROM RATS IN GRIMS. replace it with any DoT that doesn't RAPE the eyes of whoever gets hit with it.

i will start this thread with an anecdote. around a little less than a year ago, I scratched my retina because I'm a dumbass and leave my contacts in for way longer than they're supposed to be in my eyes. In that time, I had to turn my monitor brightness to 5/100, gamma way down, and close all my windows and blinds. couldn't look at any form of bright light without immense pain in my eye. I did bloodwynd a couple times, and any time he did his Green spell attack, i'd have to avert my eyes, or else I'd feel like I was getting stabbed in the eye with an axe.

I would literally rather have to do all that again than continue to deal with the rats despair procs in grims. whereas bloodwynd only does the spell at most once per minute, and isn't guaranteed to use it at all during a fight, whereas rats are at least 50% of the mobs that spawn in Grims, and are GUARANTEED to proc it on hitting you. Oftentimes, you can't dodge their attacks while walking through them or while defending a pillar. There's no counterplay beyond just walking really far from the pillar, meaning you'll lose if you don't stand by the pillar and get constantly eye-raped by the proc. the proc also makes it super hard to see the other mobs approaching, and despair stacks, meaning that you'll get hit by enemies you can barely see and it'll proc despair on you AGAIN, just prolonging the cycle. It's an obnoxious change to make the rats more "dangerous" that doesn't really do that so much as make them fucking obnoxious.

Please replace it with bleed, or something. it works in IoD, it should work here just as well.

Why do you think we should promote you?: I'm a pretty calm and relaxed person and  generally don't get mad of any small things like crossfire or accidents. I've reported a major exploit in the past and I've been on the server for quite a while and I would like to take on a bigger role.

Why would you like to be promoted?: NTG was one of the best experiences in my entire life, and when it shut down I was honestly afraid I would never experience a TTT server that could surpass it. This server ended all my doubts and fears and provided me with the best experience I've ever had playing GMod or any other source game. It's genuinely an amazing experience for me and I don't think anything will ever surpass it.

Why do you think we should promote you?: I honestly believe reports are overlooked a bit too often and I want to personally help out by handling the reports that slip through the cracks.

Do you have any administrative experience?: A small TTT network called Crystal Network Gaming 3+ years ago. I was a moderator.

Additional Details: My last few posts have been a bit half assed and one of them was genuinely made out of rage from a single report that a staff member completely disregarded. I've had a hot temper in the past, especially recently because of personal irl reasons. If I were to have this accepted, I would like to have a small grace period if I feel like I'm in a bad place where I can get it sorted out before I recieve the rank. Where did you hear about this server?: I played NTG back when it was popularized and after getting bored of moat, I kinda just came across FRG incidentally, but I'm glad I did.

and since we used to use the same family computer, I automatically got banned for "Using an ALT act while banned". Never hacked, never will.

Why do you want to join?: IDK where to start, but because of this server I've met some really nice people who're incredibly inclusive (Dylan, BeeBee, Terran, Kazen, etc), and I see there's a lot of love and effort that goes into this server so It would be nice to feel like I'm really apart of the community, and that I'm contributing to something bigger than me.

Reason for ban: I said the racial slur ending in a hard r once, got banned for a week, came back, slipped up and said it again, completely without thinking first.

What really happened?: First incident, I was very heated in the moment, as someone had killed me in a frustrating way, and while dead, in voice chat I called him a racial slur. Alex banned me for a week. This ended as of the 7th. I returned today, and I was goofing around and being silly with a dead body, and someone in a comedic way burned me, and I said "now listen here -racial slur-" in a joking manner and immediately knew what I said without thinking, i felt like a fool.

Additional details: I know i literally just got banned, but I'm just knocking this out now, because I am gonna end up busy in the next couple of days and may keep putting this aside.

I know what I said is a very bad thing. I shouldn't have the word in my vocabulary, and I'm making a major effort to remove it. I went a long time without saying it, and I don't know why it sprouted back up. There is no excuse in the book for me to have said it. I do genuinely regret saying it, and a lot of times say things without thinking. They just metaphorically roll off the tongue, it's gotten me in trouble in more times than I can count. If unbanned, I will personally make the effort to not use mic at all until I'm 100% sure it is out of my system again. If it should remain that I be banned permanently, I will understand, however be upset with myself. I value the community very much, and I would be genuinely heartbroken to be banned from something I love so very much, and in addition, provide me with some small comfort when I move and have the time without friends.

Last request, should I stay permabanned, please put the scarlet and geode into the giveaway, so that someone else can experience them, i'd hate for them to die with me.

I think having the Oracle Shield in Grims as it is in TTT a fucking terrible idea, however, if we rework it I think it could have a decent niche
First thing we have to do is remove Player Damage. Proccing Cancer on your teammates is well... pretty cancerous.
Second, make the Shield reflect enemy projectiles (Sword Beam, Railgun Fist, etc) but allow Player Projectiles to pass through (Not just bullets, Lasers too)
Third, make Radiation do more base damage to enemies (Maybe 4 per tick per proc or something)

After that, it would be a decent tool to block a few enemy attacks, but a pretty pog tool for Extra DOT against large groups of enemies if you kite them right.
