This is going to get stupid levels of flak, and honestly its probably a sort of shitty idea, but after doing the dailies most of the days this month (I slacked on a few, gimme a break) and not smelling even a whiff of that unique Warbanner, my salt levels are rising gradually (but steadily). It doesn't feel fair to me to play daily and try to get this Warbanner, yet get shafted due to pure RNG on a time-limited drop. Now, I can already see the arguments here, and heard one thanks to unpoke (Comparing the dailies to, say, limited event stuff; i.e jolly grenade mod from Santa. The differences there is that while everyone can only do 6 dailies a day, no more no less, people can do theoretically unlimited amounts of santa, etc).

So, before you start reee'ing down below, this is what I propose:
If you complete at least 20 days, maybe even 25, of all the dailies for those days*, you get an untradeable copy of the monthly unique.
The EXCEPTION to this is if you RNG and drop one before that, then you will NOT get a copy of it, untradeable or not. This is purely for if you got truly shafted.

My reasoning is that these monthly uniques sound really fun and like they could bring a lot of cool stuff to the table, but it truly hurts to just be shafted out of pure luck.**
If you don't like it, that's fair enough, that's why I'm adding a poll. You can just vote and ignore if you'd like, majority rules, Brass decides anyways without too much sway from us.
But please.

I don't think The Conqueror's Judgement works as a gun.

Default Shot

  • [+]The damage on a bodyshot is 65 which is pretty standard for a rifle (in the sense that its a two shot body)
  • [+]The accuracy on the shot seems really high (the weapon doesn't have stats displayed)
  • [-]The shot makes a very loud noise and the bullet has a trail (this is pretty much immediately tells the server "hey i'm shooting people")

Ion Charge
  • The rocket jump function is useless unless you have a gravity crystal equipped (you'd get more height off of shurikens)
  • The actual shot does 10 extra damage to the body (75) and has a newton effect (In theory this is sick, But its insanely hard to hit they have to be standing still)

Missed Shots Don't Consume Ammo
In theory this should also be nuts, but its not all that noticeable. The reload on the gun is already really fast so there's no real reason to have this trait.

Headshots Cause a Shockwave
  • [-]This trait practically does nothing but tell everyone on the server that someone is 100% using a conq.
  • [+]It does 25 damage to people in a couple of arms reach from the headshot. (It almost never happens)
  • [+]It looks awesome

The gun punishes users for doing well by letting everyone know where you are and that its you. On the flip side it has a crutch trait (misses don't consume ammo) that really isn't necessary. The rocket jump to be honest is fine, its pretty bad without a grav crystal but it isn't the worst thing under the sun.

I don't have any suggestions on how it should be changed nor do I want a buff, I really just feel like the gun is just a cobble of random traits that don't really work together.

Had an idea for a meme (ish) gun called The Brass Tax. stats could be op or not (your choice really) but the trait it comes with could be "Each shot from this weapon uses the highest caliber bullet available so each shot will cost 500-1000 coins". I figured this would could come in 2 variants of either a H.U.G.E or a sniper rifle.

  [CHANGE] Snowglobe

I was gonna keep bumpin' the other like 3-4 threads that addressed snowglobe changes over the past couple of years but I really didn't like the idea in most of them anymore.
Nothing's really great about the Snowglobe as a lot of you know (or may not know since nobody really uses it).

What it does:
You activate it, it gives you a giant snow-blizzard bubble type thing. From that, you can't change weapons* and anyone that touches the blizzard gets their health leeched and their speed leeched. You also get lowgrav while you're holding it and it's active.
* You can drop the globe on the ground, take out your weapon, and pick it back up to use a weapon with it active, but it doesn't recharge in this state.

People keep suggesting ways to buff its current ability and all that, but really with stuff like the War Banner which gives mobility out and miscs like Shurikens and Grimoires and of course the Boomerang, it doesn't stand much of a chance.
I would consider the Snowglobe a high-risk type item now being that you have to get a Flashback, use 40k to open it in hopes of getting one of the godlikes that are "worthwhile" (although almost all of them are), and I don't really know what's seen as worse, the Snowglobe or a basic Eveningstar at that point. Either way, it's an absolute loss.

I can't think of anything that would top this directly with what it does now, so I suggest that it just gets completely revamped. I'd love to see it turn into a support item, nothing about "Snowglobe" screams something that should be deadly.
I love the idea of shaking it to do something, I'm not sure what, but anything. If it were a better Orb of Christmas in that sense where it healed in AoE, maybe snowfall would surround the user when they shake it and the snow can hit a player and grant them health, that would be plenty, alongside of some other stat buffs? Multi-use miscs are always welcome, especially since it's the only misc obtainable in the Flashback as of right now.

Really this post is all about QOL change for mage, there are so many times where mage kinda just annoys you and actually becomes a liability when trying to do certain things.
So right now I do not understand why mage needs to take away your melee, at first I thought it was because it shot fireballs but when that was fixed, now it just seems like a random thing that punishes you for purchasing class when your trying to go for melee kills.
Also just anytime you want to go long range fireball screws you over so many times, not only blocking vision and bullets, but advertising to everyone else your exact location.
Really I just want mage to not limit so many options a t has when it's suppose to be a t item I paid 1 credit for.
If you purchase a class and get Necro, just because people do not use it's main feature does not make it hinder you in any other way and warriors only downside is some mobility, which it covers for with dash.
Then like necro it becomes a I paid 1 credit for at least some benefit vs 1 credit for the possibility to screw myself over should I not be playing a certain way.
TLDR:
Mage should have the ability to use there melee and be able to turn off fireball proc.

Additional details: So basically, it has been a year since I was banned, I have been banned twice. Staff were kind enough to give me a second chance after my first ban, but yet, I was banned again. I can assure you, I'm no longer toxic. I have been a really chill player in lots of other competitive games. I just started getting into GMOD yesterday, and decided, that I've waited long enough to make an appeal on FRG. I consist of very positive attributes now, Im more of a relaxed memer type player, meaning, instead of rage, I'm more chill, and joke about it. I really do miss FRG, Ive spent a lot of time into the game, and I really don't want it to go to waste. I apologize for the toxicity I've caused on FRG, I really am sorry. I just really want to be able to chill on FRG again, and have fun using all the stuff I used to have. Hopefully you can consider my appeal. Thank you VM.
