It'd be really cool to see an frg EFT server added. Item rewards or not I know i'd play a lot. If there would be an item reward system it could be team members get 1-2 tier 1 reward chests with each win, while also having a 1-2 tier 1 chest or a low chance at 1 tier 2 chests for individuals that score. I've seen others request an eft server (no idea if theyre joking or not) but I think theres enough community interest in it to actually stay frequently populated

So I've been wanting to offset the Bi-monthly system for 1 month so it doesn't align with seasonal crunch time as much as it does now.


I don't want to make a whole new complicated bimonthly style item just for 1 month in august, only to need another one in September (Mostly because I'm going away in august for a bit), so we're going to have a discussion and a poll on some various other options I'm considering.


One:
Upon pass completion, get one random previous bimonthly item. Maybe have limited number per "sought after" bimonthly item (Prisma basically) before its removed from the applicable pool to limit how many of each can drop.

Two:
A Prim tier or unique that has a huge assortment of random traits that can be on it, but more curated so its not too busted and to not include certain traits at all. This would also have lower catalyst chances to minimize broken combos.

This might be the more interesting option, but also has a higher risk in my opinion. But it's nothing that can't be patched later on if it ended up being too op. (I can design it in a way that I can retroactively adjust it as needed).


If anyone has any other ideas, please discuss them below. Otherwise, vote on option one or two for what you'd rather see.

Hello I have thought of an Idea

During Map vote, I am suggesting a system known as MAP MODIFIERS it is a pretty common system inside of some games to bring rewards along with negatives. +1 Positive (Triple Scroll Progress or Daily or task, Double Loot Orb Chance) +1 Negative (Not entirely needed but All traits are disabled or hitbox size reduced) I can't think of too many negatives but you get the idea. It could be a chance kinda like Lucky map. I am sure more people of the community could come up with some more ideas.

So, I'm so burnt out on FRG that I feel like leaving for a while. But making a lame post about me being tired is so dumb! Instead, I'm gonna host an Open Fortress tourney. First place gets a bunch of cool stuff and maybe garbage, second place gets NOTHING.

Open Fortress, for those who don't know, is a Source mod for Team Fortress 2 that transforms it into an Arena shooter in the likes of Quake. Lots of weapons, powerups and most importantly, bhopping (speed is fun.) I thought it would be pretty cool to host this because the game is fun.

I have enough faith in myself that the ruleset I made will result in the tourney not taking too long and still be fun. So here goes:
Matches will be Free for All
Map timer will be 15 minutes
Frag limit for the map will be 20
First to three wins gets the prize pool
