Your team starts on a pirate ship. The pirate ship has a captain. You can protect the captain from the krakens attacks. If you successfull protect him you get 2 pirate chests at the end instead of 1.
Kraken attacks the ship also the ship has a set amount of life. If the ship gets destroyed you have 2 life boats to get on. If those life boats are taken out you lose.
Also if the captain could give some sort of buff if he is alive. (Maybe a counter to a ebola attack?)

Kraken attacks: Lands tentacle attacks on the ship. a section of the ship is set to a safe zone and players have a certain amount of time to reach that area.
Baby kraken attack: kraken launches baby krakens that strike the ships you have to shoot them out of the water.
Putrid Kelp: Kelp rains down from the sky if it hits a person it slows them down and blinds them temp.

The beta is live on TTT 2. During this beta we will be testing the new In-game Download system I made, looking for bugs/oversights or performance problems. We will also be testing Challenge Scrolls.

The Beta server will use a different Database entirely, so any items obtained/lost here will NOT carry over to the main database. This is so we can test various rewards, and new player models and what not, without having them affect players.

More Details:

• Huge networking compression to speed up data transfers from Server to Client.
• Challenge Scrolls. A complete re-write of my old system, done by tobias.
  These are little scrolls that lead you to a reward chest. (Untradeable)
  
  
  There are varying difficulties of these, with various tasks, riddles, and puzzles to perform to get to the next step.
• New setting to disable "Hold To Remove" items.
• 24 new player models (Note that not all of these are likely to be added. These are just a test run, with the new system and what not)
  
• Re-organized the Coinshop. Donator stuff now has its own section.
• Changed playermodel displays.
• New In-Game download system. This means, all of our content will download as you play the game, rather than at the loading screen. As a result, you may see some errors until the downloads finish, but it beats being stuck at a loading screen.
  
  If you have limited Data, I do not advise participating in the beta, as there will be ~1.3gb worth of downloads.

Hey so I know it used to be floating around, but do we still have a compiled list of all of the maps on the server to download somewhere? If so, can someone link it?

Couple buddies of mine are trying to join the server and were able to play for a map, but on map change both of them were getting "Couldn't CRC map....disconnecting". Tried getting them to wipe their /addons folder with the /maps in it for a fresh install and still getting that error. Can't find some of the maps on the workshop like ttt_jollly_b2, so if anyone has a link to all of the maps the server uses for downloading that'd be fantastic.

This event wouldn't give any of the loot from the bosses from the actual events. That way people still play the events to get them.
Basically there would be a arena which you fight all group bosses of frg.

Normal mode(Nob Modo):
Basically all bosses are the same with no suffixes
Would give decent loot but this is more meant for new players to group and see how the bosses work in FRG.
Also would give a ticket for hard mode if you kill all bosses. (1 ticket for player)

Hard mode:
You get a ticket from end round drop of TTT which would be rare.
The bosses would have random pre fixes everytime they spawn. The more powerfull prefixes would have better loot. And the hardest prefixes would give you chance at unique loot.
You can stop fighting anytime after every boss, but you would get reduced loot from the bosses that you have killed. The last boss would be a new unique boss with de unique loot.
Also you could set up rules like a dueling menu. You could set your team to not use crystals / orbs to get more loot.




(ideas for pre fixes) WIP
Leeching: Every damage the boss melees you it heals 100 hp.
Vengeful: Deals up to 1.5x damage based on its missing health.
Agile:10% increased movement speed 10% attack speed for melee
Godly: Every prefixed combined

Ever since the snowball pre-round fix was added, whenever a snowman round begins the first 30 seconds or so don't result in a one shot kill when trying to get snowmen.

Blink has been broken ever since the fixes for the lag were applied.

Anytime you blink, it'll bug out like shown in the gif, most of the times sending you flying backwards or towards the ground.

Reason for ban: I was exceedingly rude to other players whenever I did not get my way, or whenever I was killed. I would call people rude names using excessive profanity, and I regret it alot. I really miss this server, and you guys probably dont beleive in one last chance, and I understand if you dont.

What really happened?: It was about 4-5 months ago or something like that, and I was rude to players/operators. I would use bad language to insult other players whenever I would get killed, or when another player would take me on. I apologize for everything that has happened. But iv'e moved on. I'm no longer the "oh no! Run away, its that kid again" person. I was also really dumb to spend 10 dollars for a new gmod account as an alt to continue playing the server. That shows 2 things, 1 I am committed to this server, and I love it a lot. 2, I make extremely unthinkable choices that are not the best, and I can try to make it better by apologizing to everyone on the server. But, I am committed to putting the community at its best, and not turn other players against each other. Please forgive me, if you don't, its ok. I accept your opinion.

On some maps, it's almost impossible to kill players who camp in one-way rooms, or a tiny hall

Is it possible to add on each map invisible barricades to block some rooms. I imagine it like CS:GO Wingman barricades, where they only appear on Wingman matches (in this, only appear on infection rounds)

Either this, or do the same thing like Hunter rounds, you have to travel around the map, collect care packages, to stay alive.
