Have you ever been banned and why: Karma and changing name in-game. (and karma ban was just a lot of misunderstood rdm trains and calls, TTT is a little crazy late nights)

Why would you like to be promoted?: After taking a LITTLE break from the server I am refreshed and enjoying playing for long periods at a time. Of course there will always be rdmers online when no +mem is on, but I would also like to help the other staff so they won't get flooded by reports.

Why do you think we should promote you?: Any past bad habits on TTT have now been fixed, I follow the rules, I am not obnoxious or annoying, and I am friendly to everyone that joins the server. I have no specific enemies and I do not hold grudges. I can handle the responsibility of dealing with reports without abusing it.

Why do you want to join?: I know pretty much everyone in the community, and I know the rules as well. I'm a very active player on the server, and I feel like I've been around long enough to become part of this community.

We've had this discussion long ago and it seemed just about everyone did not like the idea of having them, that is, ones not already included with GMOD/Css.

However, while experimenting around awhile back, I've managed to come up with a method of rendering Clientside Player models. That means I can allow users to toggle 'custom player models' at will. It also means any custom player models will not change any hitboxes at all (most usually don't anyways), however, some models do infact need bigger hitboxes. (I'd most likely avoid those)

With that in mind, would any of you like to see any special player models? I'm not talking about adding one big ass pack of player models and have everyone run around as anime characters and what not, but 'special' player models that are fairly uncommon. These could be disabled via f1>settings if it's getting in the way of your gameplay.

Now keep in mind, this MAY never come to pass. This system is highly experimental and would need a lot of testing before I actually officially keep it. I may run some live tests with it sometime soon just to see, but if no one would like any of these I doubt I will continue work on it.

I will NOT allow users to disable default GMOD/CSS/HL2 models though, only ones you need to download upon server join.

I was recently thinking about the Easter update that may or may not be coming, and I thought of a good idea (IMO).

Background Info
If any of you know the game series Spyro, you may know what I'm talking about. In the Spyro game series there is a antagonist character, he is known as the Thief in the game. He took all the eggs from the dragon kingdom and is trying to keep the eggs from Spyro and the rest of the dragons.

How this will go into FRG Lobby
In the Lobby there will be a Spyro NPC there waiting for you to get the quest. He will say "SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME! Oh, Hello Stranger of this world. I am Spyro from the dragon kingdom. I saw one of the thieves come to this world with an egg! I need those eggs to bring back to my kingdom! Could you be a kind being and find him for me?" Then you Accept the quest.

How this will work in the TTT Server
The thieve will be making a noise that is similar to the one in the Spyro game and it will help you find him on the map. When you get close to him he will run away and only stay on land and not go on props. (IF, he encounters a ladder he will teleport on to the bottom of the ladder and keep going) He will stay on a pattern path so that you can easily figure out your next move on him. The thieve will be client side and you will be able to collide with him so you can grab him. The thieve will then disappear and you will have to wait till next round to get him again. I think you should have to get 25 eggs from the thieves (1 egg per thief) and then turn it in for 5 easter eggs or an easter egg basket which contain a random amount of eggs when opened ranging from 7 - 15 eggs. (Edit: For the final prize from the Easter Egg Hunt maybe we could get a sparx follower kind of like a navi. I don't have a player model atm, but I will get one after school)

So I was thinking last night how we have the rune of power that gives you a temp godlike for a few hours
and it gave me a brilliant idea that doubles as a coin sink

TEMPORARY LOADOUTS

How will it work?

I've thought of 2 ways it could possibly work and both of them require the user to be able to go to lobby
(Both ways also will have a person/machine that this will come from)

Way #1

User talks to person / interacts with machine and is given an option to pay X amount of coins or Z amount of rubies for a temporary loadout.
(The coin price will scale every X levels ruby price could be constant)

Every time you use it you have a guarantee of 1 godlike/celestial/primordial
The other weapons will be totally random and based on your level.


Way #2


The user talks to the person / interacts with the machine and they are presented with X number of tiers of loadouts
where the tier reflects the current gun rarities (negating the 3 lowest tiers because nobody wants a common/uncommon/ordinary loadout)

Each tier could be level capped if wanted and would cost X amount of coins or Z amount of rubies


How "Temporary" are we talking?

I'm thinking it should be anywhere from a day to a week or provide a slider that affects the final price of the tier choice

Reason for ban: "Had a chance to be mature about the demotion. Instead decided to be immature. No longer welcome here." There are numerous reasons, ranging from in-server harassment of specific players to the harassment of the entire community.

Did you commit the actions stated in the ban reason?: I did.

What really happened?: I had been on my last warning as a staff member due to numerous instances of drama that I had initiated with players such as NotChosen and Tobiasx, and I continued to harass them in game until Brass decided it was time to demote me. I had an incredibly immature reaction to my demotion and freaked out at the entire server, insulting people who were my friends, and pretty much went on a massive trantrum until Brass and the rest of the server had enough of it and banned me. Even after that, I continued to harass Brass and others on the server for around a month until legal action was threatened, which is when I stopped.

Additional details: There are no words to describe the amount of regret that I hold for my actions here in mid-2016. None of the people that I treated terribly deserved it, and I allowed my own mental health to affect my behaviour on the server. I never, ever should have done the things that I did back then, and if I could I would change it all and go back, but obviously I cannot. However, I truly believe that in the 8 months it has been since I was banned, and the 3 months it has been since my last appeal, I have grown tremendously as a person both in maturity and respect for the people around me. I understand that a lot of you who know me from the time I was banned do not ever want to see me back on the server, but I honestly do believe that I am a much better person and I would do anything to get the chance to prove it to you guys and redeem myself.

I know how unlikely it is that my ban will be removed, or even reduced, but if you guys have any hope at all that I changed, please give me a chance to show it. I really miss this community.

Where did you hear about this server?: And I came across it in a random search, which sounds kind of lame.

Have you ever been banned and why?: I've been banned once. I changed my name mid round.

Why do you want to join?: I want to join the community, because I don't want to just "play around". I want to commit, and I want to have fun. But I don't want to be just a random someone. I want to be known, someone who people place trust in. I want people to be proud to say "Razzation? Yeah, I know him."

Referred by: Wolfpac my friend, he took me in. He gave me guns when I first began.
He explained the oddities, the ins, the outs. He showed me what the server was all about. He showed me the server was worth commiting to. And if that wasn't enough, he allowed me to use him as a referral too.

Additional Details: I love poetry, and I enjoy chess. I love gaming in general, though I'm not the best. I'm a musician at heart, and an adult in my mind. I can be a work of art, and I always try to be kind. TTT's always been my favorite mod, and this server tops all others like a god. I work hard, and I try to be just. Better yet, it'll take many years for my bones to rust. I'll stay on the server for a great time to come, and I believe it's a better person that I'll become.
