  Crystal Corruptor

The suggestion is simple, a consumable item or slotted item like the Crystal Synergizer that reverses the effect of a crystal/crystals.
For example, if you slot a Jump Crystal in, it lowers your jump height for added movement speed, or with Dimension Crystal, instead of giving reserve ammo over time it saps the reserve ammo of people you shoot, or if Blaze Crystal made you take more fire damage in exchange for having a 1 in 5 chance to shoot a special phoenix DOTwith any weapon/
I can see a few really cool uses for this too, like making Vit Crystal remove 15 health, but give you 30% overall more damage resistance against RANGED sources, so stuff like melees, knives, and fall damage do less but djinn balls, mage balls, DOTs, and event projectiles do less damage overall.
If this seems a bit underpowered or kinda useless on most crystals why not make it to where you could slot 2 crystals in for debuffs to use 3 crystals, like if you slot in Jump and Gravity for debuffs to make it so you cant jump, and slot Shock Reload and Vit for buffs. I just like items that give you debuffs to counteract or balance the buffs it gives you.
What do you guys think? Leave some changes you think would be cool and I might add an addendum with your guys' suggestions.

Hey everyone,

Life has taken ahold of me. There's been a lot of incredible, and equally as much awful things happening that I've neglected attention towards. I want to go into the new year with the ability to put full focus on things that really matter to me - school, career and health.

That being said, FRG has been a priority to me since I was some 15 year old kid with acne tripping through high school. The amount of personal development I've gone through here is incredible to think about, and it's crazy to think now that the reason I'm quitting is because I'm about to turn 22 and graduate college. I can't thank you all enough for putting up with me for this long. This place is full of some of the best people I have ever met (as well as the opposite, jeez, outsource some community therapists). I'll miss and cherish the interactions I've had here, the personalities I've met, all the fantastic memes.
Even though this is a stepping down thread, I'd like to really thank the staff team. You all are fantastic people.

I don't know if I'll be active on the discord, lurking, scrolling through or whatever. For those who invested money in my work, I'll stay in close contact and at least have it open to check - all works are back into full effect. As far as my inventory goes, since I'm sure a handful of you are wondering, right now I have no plans for it. I'm sure I'll come on at some point and ask Brass to do something with me maybe when I have something to celebrate.

Thank you all for the years, they'll never be forgotten.

  Crafting Changes and other newbie QoL- 12/30/2020

  • Added "Dismantle Whitelist" this allows items that match the keywords you input to ALWAYS be dismantled no matter what your other settings are (unless auto dismantle is disabled entirely, or if you have auto dismantle catalysts disabled, this wont apply to catas).
  • Added option for "Auto Dismantle Accessories" for each craft tier (can not apply to godlikes), doesn't dismantle untradeable ones. (Provided you have the global perk unlocked)
  • Crafting Tiers 1-4 are now 'soft unlocked' for all players, auto dismantle for these tiers is now a freely accessible setting that you don't have to unlock. You can get all mats/catalysts from these without unlocking the tier as well, however, not having the tier 'full potential' ('Next Tier' perk for the tier below) unlocked grants you lower mats/proc rates from those tiers.
  • All players now receive an untradeable 50 slot Large Backpack upon first join to help manage all the loot (You can obtain yours by rejoining).

The goal of these changes is to make the loot you obtain easier to manage, especially for newer players, so be sure to help inform newbies they can enable auto-dismantle in !settings. (It tells them in chat as well until they open the settings menu)

  Lock Certain inventory Slots

I would like to lock the slot in the inventory. This would help so when i click the re organize button things i have in certain perma slots that i keep there for reasons wont get moved around. An example is when im opening 1000 Christmas crates and i wanna reorganize so that purple catas are above all the teal ones. If i re organize all of a sudden all my scrap and other things i have in certain spots go somewhere else and i have to spend time moving it back to the top to make my inv look neat and pretty. First world problems im hoping to get fixed

Why would you like to be promoted?: I would like to be promoted to help keep FRG fun. Right now no one expects anything from +Members and from my own experience I understand why, I have been RDM multiple time and have tried to make reports to get the problem fixed but I have never had a +member do a report before the person RDMing either mass RDMs or leaves and it has ruined the fun experience I hope for when playing on FRG. I hope the if given +Member I can break the thought the +Members never do reports as well as keep the fun atmosphere that FRG has when playing.

Why do you think we should promote you?: I think I should be promoted because of the "Why would you like to be promoted" section and what I said. Secondly I am and try to be active on the server as I enjoy playing on the server.

Do you have any administrative experience: Yes. I was a Moderator on NTG before it shutdown ;-;

If it isn't a large chunk of work it'd be cool to remove the eye glow on the base rifle and include the eye glow when stopping power rounds are in the chamber

Best Name (imo)
- "WhiteDeath" [The nickname of the Finnish man with the highest number of confirmed sniper kills in the world (with this name you could lock the second inherent trait behind getting 505 rightful kills to lean into the name and the man's final number of kills)]
Flavor text: A tool honed by Simo Häyhä that is said to have power imbued in it granted to those that surpass his recorded kills.

Ok names
- "Astraea's Awareness" [Astraea - greek goddess of precision.]
Flavor text: Before leaving mankind to do their own bidding, Astaea left behind this weapon focused with her precision.

- "Astraea and Theia" [Goddess of precision and Goddess of Sight (would play on sniping and the first inherent trait)]
Flavor text: When Astraea and Theia were tasked with judging people's innocence they used this tool to channel both of their abilities.

Inherent Trait:
Definite inherent trait: While ads'd if a user is aiming at you there is an on-screen notification to their general location. If shot by the player, the player's soul is outlined and your first shot ignores limb modifiers and deals 20% extra damage to body and limbs. If you headshot kill the outlined player a stopping power round is added to the top of your mag (the rest of the mag doesn't receive the boost)

Second inherent trait:
Stopping power rounds: After collecting 3 headshots in a round press alt+e to reload a half-sized mag (if mag size is larger than X then it's capped at X) of double damage rounds (damage capped at 85-95% of the target's max health) with greatly increased recoil. Possible variation to this would be the removal of limb modifiers and/or sizeable knockback to the person that's shot

*Headshoting a player with a stopping power round gibs the player (gory without applying aoe bleed)





Obviously, this won't be the new event destroyer so it won't garner that portion of playerbase's support though it would be a fun addition and would be a nice change of pace from mutable's reputation of being required to be sweat gun suitcases.
