  LUA Coding tutorials?

I'm trying to learn how to LUA code because I want to make a few entities. I've been on the http://wiki.garrysmod.com/ website for awhile and it helps with basics and understanding certain Hooks, Libraries, Classes, etc. But there are still things I'm not certain on. If anyone has any other resources such as videos, LUA files, or links for learning lua or any that helped you to learn lua; I would much appreciate it.

  Two Glitches

1. Remote mines dont deal damage if you press it into a wall for some reason.

2. When you press the key that shows the stats of the gun while holding it and kindof turns the gun sideways, alot of times it glitches and just spasms out for a second then goes back to normal and does nothing, other times when it goes sideways the stats of your gun not only show where they are supposed to but also get glitched in the top left for like atleast a few minutes or until map change... Overall the showing thing is super broken, not showing the stats, glitching in the top left and staying there even after it should be done... Not going sideways atall and stuff...

3. Also, the hatchet has +15% Firerate but fires slower than the crowbar...

  Remote Detonator Glitch

Earlier in the day I was playing with Terran and Radioactive. I placed a Remote Detonator on this fence in CS_COMPOUND.

The Remote Detonator stuck for about a half a second then afterwords it detached and started flying all over the fence.
In my mind I was like "lol atleast no one will walk there now."
I turned around walked away and about 5 seconds later the whole server crashed.

First off I just want to note the customizer for the models was a stroke of genius and I can't wait to dive into making the dumbest looking character on the server, however I think it could be expanded into something better.


- Spending Rubies for Accessories -

Currently Rubies can only be spent on one thing and that's rolls, I wouldn't be surprised if it's already planned/in development to spend Rubies on accessories but if not, well it should happen cause they are purely aesthetic after all.

- Multiple Props -

When you buy an accessory you can only place one of that prop, I can understand why it's a feature since placing infinite of one prop can lead to a lot of abuse (Walking man blob of lights makes a very hard target...) However, there is a way to balance this: Similar to how your inventory works you could purchase an accessory, and you can only place one for every prop you bought. Kinda like buying item crates, you use as many as you purchased HOWEVER: For every purchase of a prop, to buy another of the same kind its price increases by 50%. EG: Buy a Melon, place the melon on your character, go to buy another however it costs you 150 Coins instead of 100, etc etc.

Should FRG have post round music? There would be an option in F1 settings to disable it of course. My vote is yes because it is nice to minimize the game when dead and hear the music to know when to come back.
