  Moving TTT/Lobby to a new machine.

Well the server was setup today, and we just finished testing it, and it went great!

Thanks to everyone who helped me test the new hardware.
We saw quite the massive performance increase!

Here's a few clips showing stuff that would normally chug the server:






We also did a 32 player kraken, and it went very smooth. It didn't turn into a slide show, and was very stable, and very playable!

I will be swapping all of the TTT servers, and the lobby server over to the new machine most likely tomorrow!

This means, when I do the swap, there will be a brief downtime. Not long, and the TTT servers, and Lobby server will have a new IP address. You can pre-favorite them now if you'd like, via legacy browser>favorites>add server:

  Enraged Trident

A few things seem broken on the enraged trident which is kinda disappointing considering how rare they are and how annoying it is to collect the eyes (6 of either tradeable or not tradeable which you aren't allowed to mix and match)

Anyways:

The right click tentacle ability downright is broken and does nothing currently other than make a splash sound

Also, the shield appears to do nothing? I see it appear but for the life of me it doesn't really seem to do anything.

Lastly, while not a bug like the two things listed above with the power creep of new melee items in terms of mobility would it be possible to allow the trident to move faster than base speed? It feels like it currently gives 0% mobility in an age where legendary melees give +25% mobi. I'm not asking that trident get anything like that but somewhere in the range of 10-15% would be nice. It just feels extremely slow to use considering how rare it is and the cost of obtaining it versus other options. Thanks for your time

Since nobody views forums anymore anyways, a DOUBLE WHAMMY! For YOUR pleasure!!

Firstly, the Extinct Railgun. I don't think its current ability is very good. It definitely looks fun on paper, but right now the only reason its used is purely to "Abuse" its ability in a very frustrating manner for other players. What you can do is go into a Traitor room with a one-way window, and shoot people outside of it (The Railgun goes through walls). This is extremely unfair, since you can't defend yourself or fight back, and if you raed this, add an N to your post at the end even if the player inside somehow misses (hard to do), then you're still going to most likely instantly die. Not only THAT, but some maps have these one-way windows that can encompass a VERY wide area (The Cube map is a good example).

This, my proposed change: Extinct Railgun: Missed shots still do damage, and the closer it is the more damage it does, up to 80%. Doubled Clip and Firerate for the railgun.


My reasoning behind this is to make the Railgun a more viable short, mid and long range weapon. You'll be able to charge it up much faster, meaning successive shots won't penalize you as much, and doubled clip will benefit you in prolonged fights and more dicey situations. You can treat it as a sort of laser gatling gun in a sense, not having to be dead on if yuo read this, add an E to your post at the end  the player, but still able to do damage. This would ALSO HAVE THE BENEFIT of being able to hit multiple players at once, unless you hit someone directly! Tons more versatility and, in my opinion, a lot more fun. I've ONLY seen people use these guns when they can "cheese" them!

Now, for something more controversial: A Sagittarius change. I've long since hated how +Sag works, being one of the most (if not literally the) most boring Extinct "upgrade", while all others have an ability of some type...Yet +sag is still the most sought-after, expensive and powerful ones! The reasoning being? FRG's balance RELIES on the fact that the better damage/firerate/clip/etc stats guns have, the WORSE stability and accuracy they have! This is to make for some level of "Skill" with guns. Right now we have MULTIPLE ways to temporarily or permanent reduce recoil if you read this, add an A to your post at the end (Ocarina, Warbanner, Crystals), but +sag is one of the simplest: You equip the gun with it (In this case, the nefarious sag CCD), and suddenly you have a primary with NO DOWNSIDES permanently! The whole round! An entire event! (I don't actually mind it working for events.)

Thus, my second proposed change, AND SOME MINOR ONES. Actually, here's the MINOR +sag changes FIRST, before people get all pissy.


The first minor change is that +sag will be something you can turn on, and it will have a timer that you can refresh to enable it again, possibly a short cooldown (Like Warbanner or Ocarina). This means you only need to take it out, +sag up, and you're good to go. It means a tiny amount of user input to balance it a bit to match other "Buff" abilities.

The second ALTERNATIVE (not BOTH you potato) change would be that +sag simply only affects the gun its used on. That's it. People tell me "OH I'M NOT DEPENDENT ON +SAG, ITS JUST A COOL EFFECT AND IF IT CHANGED IT'D DEVALUE MY GUN, LIKE WHY EVEN CHANGE IT I CAN PLAY FINE WITHOUT ITS BUFFS" (which is total bullshit). This would probably be the easiest change I can think of. It doesn't nerf SAG guns in any way, it just makes it affect anything non-SAG you may have equipped.

NOW, for the DOOZY. The Big boy change. The thing people will fucking screech and whine and stomp about. The one I know that the same 5 or 6 of you fuckers who complain about any sort of balance will come here, nipples sweating, teeth clenched and face contorted in rage to slam away and scream I don't know what I'm talking about and to kill myself.


The Sagittarius idea. When held out, create an ice barrier every 10 seconds. Ice barriers last 60 seconds and add 20 temporary HP.
If more than one barrier is destroyed in a single attack, temporarily blind the attacker and push their aim away from you.
This would exist as a means to add value to SAG guns that aren't just the CCD (Because, real talk, who the FUCK uses a +sag gun other than the CCD? Don't lie to me. I know you don't. You know you don't.) and would put it MORE IN LINE fi you read this, add a T to your post at the end if you read this with the other Extinct guns, adding a cool and unique ability that is something you can use to help you in numerous ways. I also think that its a VERY generous buff, meaning you could get up to +80 or even +100 bonus HP and be ready for a crazy rampage. All of it is up for change or altercations, so it can be adjusted however Brass likes or whatever.

Yeah the title speaks for itself.

About five minutes ago, Brass said that Denny was basically his little brother. I wondered what I was like to Brass since we were so close and were basically best friends. I ask him "what about me? Smile"

I expected something like "Coach, you are my sworn brother in arms, I appreciate the hell out of you." Instead, I got "fuch you coach" as a response.

It seems that our friendly relationship has come to an end and I would like to thank everyone for the fun few years of my life.

Map the event happened on: Christmastown

Date of event: 04/20/2020 around midnight GMT, dont know about the time in US

What Happened?:The event has been today on christmastown, i was a traitor with hockeyfn and tommy blasted me for no reason ans hockey for association. I reported him asking why he killed me, he answered "false report" and when Dreadark (member+) asked him the reason of my killing, he said that i had a traitor item, which was a lie as you can see on the screenshot. When i pointed out the fact that he lied, he answered "who gives a shit" and left before Dreadark handled the report.

It's not the first time tommy has been a happy trigger toward me, he doesnt like me and its his right, but i have done nothing to him that justify the fact to ruin my games. Before that event a few days ago, on highrise, he was turning into a zombie and he killed me (innocent) because "since he was a turning into a zombie, i would have been a threat to him after", I also made a report but it has never been handeled.

I'm sorry but he can't act like that toward somebody and just get away with that.

Holding E or R don't trigger the burst of healing effects. Attempted multiple times, neither function. My USE key is bound to E, and my reload to R, and both don't work.

I don't think the "Reduces length of procs" works. I'm affected the same amount of time, resulting in the same damage, with and without it. I also get suffix'd constantly, I feel like the 80% chance is a lie. I have it in my synergizer with a Djinn crystal, if that matters at all.

I am known for 2 major things in this community, that stupid Dupe Scandal and Pride Crate, which was a suggestion I put in as an excuse to get a Rainbow Sword other than Durendal into the game. This suggestion is for a case named the "Prism Case," where the gimmick is that each Tier/Weapon in the case is based on a Primary (Rare) color, Secondary (Legendary) color, Tertiary (Prim) color, and the Godlike, a Prism (with some very special properties)
Each weapon out of this case, when deconned, drops 1-3 of the weapon's color Pigment, (ex blue drops Blue Pigment), that are required for recrafting that tier weapon or can be combined to make a Higher Tier pigment (ex 1 Blue + 1 Red = 1 Purp) and the catas can be combined to create a Next Tier weapon (Ex Blue + Red cata +10 Purp Pigment + Legendary, Rare, Unlikely, Frags & Scrap makes Purp weapon)

Moody Blue <weapon_name>

Accuracy: -10%
Clip: -3
Firerate: +20%

Now before we move onto the Godlike I need to talk about how this works. When you first get the Godlike, it's completely useless. It's a blank item that does nothing, however, using this recipe you can create a Raw <color_name> Light!

5 Raw Energy
100 <color_name> Pigment
70 Prim Frags
1000 Crystal Dust
35 Gold Bars

And each light has its own effects in the godlike

Empty Prism (misc slot)
Description:
A prism from a long gone era. The light from within seems to have faded away over time.

When you slot in a Raw <color_name> Light, the prism creates a field that buffs/debuffs anyone that stands in it. The combinations are as such

Blue Light Prism
*Drops a field that increases Accuracy and Stability by 15% for 60 seconds

Red Light Prism
*Drops a field that increases Damage by 15% for 60 seconds

Gold Light Prism
*Drops a field that increases Drop Chance by 15% for 60 seconds

Violet Light Prism
*Drops a field that procs Toxicity for 60 seconds

Orange Light Prism
*Drops a field that increases target's Mobility for 30 seconds

Green Light Prism
*Drops a Healing Field, healing 15 health per second for 30 seconds

Black Light Prism
*Drops a field that increases Firerate by 15% for 60 seconds

White Light Prism
*Drops a field that increases Reload Speed by 15% for 60 seconds

Brown Light Prism
*Drops Ammo Crate, reusable after 20 seconds.

You can combine all the 9 to make a Final Light

(When Socketed) Combined Light Prism
*Drops a field that increases Accuracy, Stability, Firerate, Damage, and Reload Speed by 10% for 60 seconds

*This light seems to increase in intensity the closer you hold it to an Empty prism

If you Use it instead of Socketing it, you can create a Final Prism,

Final Prism (The clip is 150, depletes 10 ammo per second)
Fires 9 colored lasers that converge in the middle and deals more damage the longer the clip lasts

*1 in 20 chance for shot not to consume ammo
*1 in 20 chance to add ammo to clip

I always thought having the Final Prism in TTT would be a perfect combination. A high risk weapon that deals massive damage after a short time period, it would also be perfect for events, being a perfect weapon for Eye Damage or Boss Damage without having it be too good for regular enemy damage and short boss downs like Giant Spider.
Tell me how you guys think about all these, I personally really like the Rainbow and Prism themes.
