we were swapping maps to event map and i wanted to swap guns before switch, i was bit slow to it but i thought i got it. when we loaded up my gun didnt change but i had a 2nd sweaty shotgun that i swapped. tried reloading inventory and such and the 2nd shotty was gone but so was my galil

This thing is barely viable in any situation and almost any other secondary is a better choice.

It gets absolutely pooped on in any firefight even if you can properly aim the janky the projectiles and in close range it almost feels worse (long range isn't much of an option either).

I get that it's kind of a niche weapon but it also doesn't really have any thing its good at while having a lot that its bad at. I think it needs more "changes" rather than just straight up buffs as I don't think it would be so weak if it felt better to use.

Honestly I don't really know how to make it better but I feel like just about anything would be an improvement. Maybe make the projectiles a bit faster? If anyone has some good ideas for the thing feel free to share them.

Why do you want to join?: This is basically my admin application, but I have to go through the ranks apparently. I just want to get admin powers so I can give myself the untrustworthy trader tag and gain influence with Brassx so he adds muskets.

What really happened?: I never made an unban request for it, since I wasn't able to have access to forums for a while, and that I assumed it would be ignored If I made one anyways.It was most likely because my only suggestion was to improve the G11 model and I am sorry for that if that annoyed anyone enough to ban me from the channel. I have come up with some interesting and decent ideas, and its fairly difficult to not be able to share them in a reasonable capacity.

  How to enable 64 bit GMOD(and load way faster too)

Video on how to do that:

(sorry but anything else had garbage quality)
1. Right click GMOD and go in properties.
2. Click on "Beta"
3. Write x86-64 for the code and press enter (don't worry if it's invalid, go to step 4).
4. Quit GMOD if you are running it.
5. Select "x86-64 - Chromium + 64 bit binaries" in BETA.
6. Launch GMOD, you should see a window popup that has a few buttons with x32 and x64, choose x64.

And voilà! You can now load in the server WAY faster than before
(if you crash while joining FRG or just launching GMOD, disable the beta)
Why is it faster to load in now?:

It's faster to load now because GMOD can use all of your RAM to load instead of using a puny 2GB of RAM to do that.

Holy shit these guns are underused/total garbage.

P90/H.U.G.E 249: p90 cool and all but cant proc shit. huge suck balls and cant proc shit. pls buff proc chances.

MP5: Mac10 except it shoots slower and is a lot less accurate. Can't even 2 shot headshot anymore thanks brassx. pls bring 2 shot headshot back and massively buff stability. keep damage falloff super harsh so its a close range monster while being able to reasonably duel people in mid-long range. https://prnt.sc/seors4 KEKW NICE HEADSHOT DMG

Thompson: MP5 except it shoots slower and takes more time to reload than finishing building an IKEA furniture. pls remove the slower reload animation and remove damage falloff. Turn it into a low accuracy high power gun instead of just a close range ak.

MR-CA1: Still an aug except its complete garbage. Scoping in makes your firerate shoot slower than a snail. is this csgo? pls remove firerate slow when scoped in. The unscoped version feels fine as it is. An increase in its accuracy would be nice for a small decrease in firerate.

Pistol: haha fnp45 goes brrrr. No clue how to buff this. might as well make it shoot 3 bullets simultaneously like a shotgun and lower its damage+headshot dmg. also lower accuracy. Alternatively, remove semi auto from fnp and give that to the pistol instead.
Also pls buff banshee's wail, its a pistol but bad.

Famas: Still kinda shit even though its pinpoint accurate and has nearly no recoil. Slightly buff base damage so it does 20 on body and lower headshot dmg so it doesnt become 2 hit. ~40 on headshot with 0% damage seems fair.

AK47: Cool gun but suffers from a lack of body shot damage and relying on headshots to deal massive dmg. However, it is counter productive as the gun has mediocre accuracy and terrible stability. Same as famas, buff its body damage slightly so it deals 20 on body and try to keep headshot damage the same. The gun has a low enough firerate that it wouldnt melt people if they decide to just use it to shoot the body.

SG552: Personally I think the gun is fine but no one uses it. Give it like 4-5 extra bullet in its clip. Although that would make it arguably make it much stronger than the galil for pvp.

TMP: But voxl this gun has massive pwr on heroic??? it has to be good. I don't think i've seen a single person this year use a tmp outside of a molten in ttt because the proc is broken as fuck. A stability buff would be nice. nobody uses this in pve anymore anyways. The high pwr is mostly artificial due to its high reload speed and massive clip.

ACR: Could use a slight body damage buff like the ak and keep headshot dmg the same. up to like 18 at 0% perhaps?

On a side note, pls let people reinvig their Mysterious. At least until it turns into either legendary or primordial.

EDIT: Alright so it seems like some people don't understand the reason for these changes I'm asking for. What I want isn't to turn every guns into high tier galil/aug meta. It's more of trying to make them not awful to use and to make a few of them not a straight up downgrade from other ones.
I personally do not see the galil and aug in their current form as being overpowered. It's more about the other weapon types being bad.

So with the new stats Brass added I feel like putting it where the weapon stats and traits are makes the list too long.

This is my Ophiuchus on the largest text possible (which I normally use), it extends almost my entire screen. Having stats for wrongful and headshot kills is just more word garbage on an entire gun. So here's my proposal.

Add the stats in the Inspect screen. This tab I'm going to assume is never used. Adding the stats to this GUI would clear up some space where the main stats of the gun should be.

I also suggested two other stats to record for guns.

Zeus's Might

This weapon was long thought to have a description, but it was lost in history due to the suggester not being good at writing flavor text

The weapon fires a stream of electricity (similar to the lightning gun in quake but i swear it's not the polarity!) every tick does a low amount of damage but it does a high amount of ticks per second.
If you keep the stream on target for x amount of ticks/ if you deal x amount of damage to a person (whatever is more balanced) then you will inflict an electrical charge on the victim which will arc more charges to nearby players/enemies.

You can reload the weapon to detonate the electric charges, the more ammo you have in Zeus's Might, the more damage the detonation will do. This creates a situation where you might want to go for some heavy burst damage on multiple targets, but you have to stop shooting your current target while you detonate your charges. Or if you're only attacking 1 person, then you don't need to kill an entire crowd of innocents just to kill 1 guy and you can just keep shooting normally. This also makes the weapon very strong in events for clearing crowds of adds for example while you're doing grims pillars.

Consuming X amount of charges will allow you to transform Zeus's Might into the weapon's next form.

The next form of this weapon is a spear which you can throw, the spear will do a high amount of damage to the body (and one shot headshotting).

When the spear lands on its target whether it be a player, the ground or a wall, the area around the spear will start storming which slows any person in the area and starts proccing multiple electric charges on people in the area which you can detonate by reloading.

Zeus's Strength

Wielders of this hammer are blessed with the strength of Mount Olympus.

This melee has 3 attacks. Every kill/hit grants X amount of stacks of Electric Destruction.

The first attack is performed by just pulling the hammer out, which swings the weapon and pushes anyone infront of the user as well as dealing a small amount of damage.

The second attack is a horizontal swing, which deals decent damage to every person/npc infront of the user. When you have a stack of Electric Destruction this slows anyone hit and leaves a damaging electric field where you swung which deals constant damage to anyone standing in it.

The third attack is a vertical swing down which only hits one person but has more damage and range. If you have a stack of Electric Destruction, the attack calls down a lightning bolt onto the area, exploding and dealing extremely high damage after a delay (Like the Thrakos, you hear thunder then the lightning bolt hits the area)

Wanderer's Flow

Handmade for a Martial Artist, who sought to blend graceful hand to hand combat with devastating gun play.

This weapon has a meter called "Flow" which is built by dealing damage and moving but dealing damage builds Flow faster than just moving around. The higher your Flow meter, the faster you move when you have Wanderer's Flow out. Flow grants access to abilities as you build it.

Being at or above 10% Flow, you can consume that 10% and do a double jump

At 25% or more Flow, you can perform a Dash by consuming 25% of your Flow.

At 50% flow, holding space in mid air allows you to walk in the air for a couple of seconds.

Finally, at 100% You can perform a combo attack, rapidly striking everyone in the area around you and draining your flow, this builds up damage on any player or NPC in the area but none of the damage is applied until the combo is finished. Getting a kill in this way gives you back X amount of Flow back.

Holding left click causes the player to point their lance forward, when this happens your movement speed starts to accelerate until you hit a wall/a player or let go of the lance but your movement is restricted to steering and you cant move backwards or sideways.

*This weapon does more damage and gains more knockback the higher your movement speed.
