Have you ever been banned and why?: No i wont ever get banned, i dont like cheaters, trash talkers or any drama to be honest so i always keep peace
Why do you want to join?: i want to become a member because im a dedicated player to this server, its the only server i have played and i really enjoy playing on this, im gonna be a long term player and i feel like i can really help out the commiuity by helping others which i dont see alot of, everytime i see a new player i make them feel welcomed because i understand the population is lower right now and i help in any way i can, thanks for your time

Where did you hear about this server?: I heard from Fluffy that BrassX made a sort-of NTG sister server.
Have you ever been banned and why?: Nope <3
Why do you want to join?: I loved NTG, and playing on this server reminds me a lot of those times, but somehow almost better? I love the PvE options, I love the crafting system, and I love the gun balance. OH, and the character customization; I feel so "me" when I look at my player-model cuz of how in-depth the customization is. Everyone in this community has been so nice to me, and a bunch of players even helped get me started inventory-wise! My favorite PvE event is Trib, cuz it's so much fun and feels very rewarding to grind. I basically haven't played anything but on this server since I started playing it.

Time played on servers?(!time username to check): A little over 500 hours total. 300+ in lobby and 200+ in ttt. It only says 138 hours on forums, but if you do !time Simba then it'll show my real time.
Where did you hear about this server?: A friend that played for like a day said he thought id like it and I've played ever since.
Have you ever been banned and why?: I dont believe so.
Why do you want to join?: So I can keep raising the bar for myself on FRG.

So after discussing earlier, I have decided to experiment a bit like I like to do. I thought about monthly items, and how that was a cool aspect but not sustainable due to the dev time needed, then I had an idea - Monthly base weapons.
These are variants of existing weapons or completely new base weapons, only obtainable during select months (fairly rare). These will repeat each year automatically, and there's support for multiple bases a month rather than just always 1, there can be multiple for variety.
On top of this, I will be adding a new item (maybe a craftable) that acts like Rune of alter/greater alter, but has these monthly bases in the pool at a set rate (any month available within these, older ones being less likely than current ones), when I get time. This doesn't mean those bases are guaranteed with this rune, they are a set chance, the normal pool is still there.
I will also highlight a few things I think will be frequently asked below:
Do these replace the Bimonthly pass? Are these related to old monthly items at all?
No, and No. These are mini monthly frg updates. New weapon types to look forward to using. Not new items entirely, just new weapon BASES. Like MP7, Silenced M16, new laser based gun, etc. Things like that, that you can get on already existing FRG Tiers/uniques, such as Heroics.
How does this work?
Each monthly base defined has a list of weapon classes that it can "replace" (I use this term loosely here), that means, if I make a new AR, and define it to 'replace galils', any weapon that can roll with a galil will now have a chance to get this monthly base weapon on it, during the month. Note, this doesn't mean ALL galils will be this, it just means it looks for items that support galils as applicable items.
This is so certain tiers that have a limited pool of weapons can't go too far outside that realm, but is still possible if a similar monthly base is defined to look for one of its classes. (Such as those in the molten pool)
So once an item is dropped, it'll look through and see if that item can support a current monthly base, if so, it'll try to proc the monthly base on it. If it procs, congrats! You now have an item with a monthly base! These come with fancy new icon visuals to indicate what they are, as well as a description in the item tooltip.
How and where can I obtain these?
You don't need to do anything extra to obtain these. Any item obtained from pretty much anywhere has a chance to turn into one of these bases, given the item is supported by the current monthly base.
Can I craft weapons into these bases?
Yes if the item itself is applicable and supported by the defined monthly base.
Will you be using existing monthly items as bases?
Not planning on it. If I re-use anything, it'll likely be already existing base weapons from some seasonal items or maybe some forgotten prim uniques, but tweaked/changed to make them more in line with being a base on many things. (Such as silenced M16 - currently has been around for the entirety of FRG but only used recently in Mercurials)
Will I be able to view the available bases in !monthly?
Eventually. Currently I don't have them listed as I want to make a way to ensure they aren't leaked before they drop.
I forgot to mention:
There's setting per crafting tier to enable auto dismantling of monthly bases. Currently they are disabled by default!

basically the same as last years, but to recap:
you MUST post a reply to this thread if you want to participate. (if you want to include what kinds of items you like for your gift-giver, you may, it might be helpful)
this is just for my recordkeeping, if someone tells me in discord that they want to join, that message will be lost within the hour and i may forget. so you HAVE TO REPLY TO THE THREAD!!
Everyone should participate, even new players or people who cant think of something to give!
there are certainly items you can give which would be good gifts.
sometime in early december, when there are "enough" participants, I'll randomly roll a name for each person.
You are their "Secret Santa" and will trade me the item you wish to gift to them, after I have DMed you their name on discord.
it is very very highly encouraged that the item you gift isn't "worthless" and you'd be happy receiving it in turn. If everyone gives really bad gifts- the whole event is moot.
these gifts will be handed out to the recipients around 2 weeks from now, on December 11th, any time i am on which will probably mostly be that evening.
Additionally, courtesy of myself and any other generous gifters who would like to contribute (DM ME IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO CONTRIBUTE),
there will be a "BONUS GIFT" pool to ensure that no one receives a "bad" gift.
I'm going to be making a spreadsheet of all the items received to assure everyone that I'm not a scammer.

Santa sack designed for taking rather than giving.
Holding left click will charge up an overhead swipe. A headshot will snatch a player, trapping them in your sack. Hitting anywhere else will do a small amount of damage with a slight push.
After trapping a player you can hold them for 12 seconds, but the victim can struggle. Struggling, done by repeatedly tapping the strafe keys, can reduce the time to a minimum 6 seconds.
(You could add a hidden option to extend the duration by struggling with different keys for players who want to goof around)
Holding a player won't result in a mobility penalty, but the victim's struggling will push the user around.
Left clicking with a captured player will drop them out with a light push.
Hold right click will wind up a progressively stronger toss. (Charging for 12 seconds should throw them comically far, like potentially enough to scale a construct tower)
After being thrown the release timer will continue to go down, but should not release before landing.

Left click is just the average 2 tap slow melee swing.
The hammer will need to either have a freeze mechanic via left click headshot or via a bloodweep-type projectile
The right click will wind up a powerful hit (reference: bone bludgeon) but its primary purpose is to shatter frozen targets. After a shatter, the target will have an ice retextured ruby curse corpse and ice shards will explode off of them. (bonus points for working on other ice cube weapons)

Each rightful kill will spawn a present somewhere on the map the round after.
Presents can work as the pumpkin clip refill trait, give a slight random stat buff, contain a d20 stacked item, or have a mildly rare chance to do nothing.
Wrongful kills will spawn vengeful spirits that are unkillable and apply Christmas debuffs when they hit you. The vengeful spirits can either be reskinned deathballs, or survive teleporters, or a split of both.
Included is a flamethrower because I think it'd be pretty good at causing you to create vengeful sprits. I would not be opposed to a weapon change though.

Slippery floors no longer inhibit control and boost the users speed. Ice traits also apply the same speed boost.
Pellets leave behind a brief slippery surface. Pellets that hit a target leave a recolored wound trail, and as the victim moves they leave behind a slippery trail.

LMG designed for pve damage output.
Alt + E super cools the LMG allowing it to shoot much faster. This comes at the cost of freezing the user in place and dealing incremental damage that requires healing to survive the entire duration. (bonus if the weapon skin changes from default to variant during ability use)
