Oh man this is a tough post to make.

NTG and then later FRG have been a massive part of my from 2013 onwards. I really can't understate how important this community has been to me. NTG was my main source of socialization and an escape from an unfortunate situation from the years 2014-2016. I spent a ridiculous amount of time on the server, probably way too much, but I don't regret it at all. I met so many people, made so many friends, and had a lot of unique experiences. Getting promoted to manager had been a goal of mine on the server for a long time and when I finally achieved that it was a massive highlight in my life at the time. Unfortunately, making a 16 year old manager/head of staff probably wasn't the best idea, especially since the server was struggling enough at the time anyways. Stepping down sooner is definitely something I should have done, but I'm still proud that I was ever manager at all lmao.

After NTG died, I took a bit of a break from TTT before migrating here. A lot of my old friends were here and I mostly just wanted to interact with a lot of you guys again. As expected, you guys were all super welcoming and I got a lot of help getting started on here. I remember Tarra giving me pretty much his entire inventory at the time which was extremely generous. So many others that I hadn't interacted with in years remembered me from NTG and did what they could to get me more involved on the server. Running events with Edit, Hockey, Enchantable, and Loqacious is probably something that sticks out to me the most about my early days on FRG. I had a really great time with you guys back in the day and never really found a group to replace that group for consistently running events.

Over the last few years I went from playing for hours daily to playing occasionally when I have the time. Unfortunately, having the time has become a pretty rare occurrence these days. My class schedule has been brutal the last few years and even when I do have the time I don't enjoy FRG or TTT nearly as much as I used to. On top of that, life has a way of kicking me in the ass every few years, and it has been one of those years. I've had a lot to think about the last few weeks. Like a lot a lot. I've pretty much completely revaluated and recalibrated what I want to do with my entire life moving forward and I don't think FRG should be or even can be a healthy part of it.

There is so many things I could say about this server, NTG, my friends here, and all the memories I have but it's hard to decide what to talk about and I definitely can't talk about all of it. Overall, I really just want to say thank you to everyone I've had the chance to meet and get to know here and thanks especially to Brassx for creating something that has been such a massive part of my life up until now.

Suffixes and Traits

of Candy Canes: 1 in x chance to shoot a candy cane that deals x damage.

of the Northern Lights: has a 1 in x chance to shoot a condensed beam of light from the Aurora Borealis and apply a random Christmas trait on the target.

of Frostbite: has a 1 in x chance to afflict the target with frostbite, reducing their movement and reload speed and dealing a small amount of damage over time (Stackable up to 3 stacks).

of Christmas Eve Sleep: has a 1 in x chance to make the target see visions of sugar plums, candy canes and Christmas trees.

Of Santa Morph: has a 1 in x chance to prompt you to morph into Santa and present tp you when taking damage and replaces your loadout with snowballs.

Of Snowman Head: tbh not really sure about the buffs on this one, really would be up to brass but similar to pumpkin head.

Of KEVIN: 1 in x chance to play the sound clip from Home Alone of the mom screaming "Kevin".

Of Jingle Bells:  1 in x chance to cause the hit player to hear the sound of bells around them for x seconds, drowning out all other sounds.

Of Snowman: has a 1 in x chance to shoot a snowman head, dealing x damage and icing the hit player/giving a walking on ice effect.

Candy Cane Fever:  A trait that covers the targets screen in a red and white stripped pattern (stackable, at max stacks their vision is compeltly obscured for 5 seconds).

Sugar Rush: A trait that has 1 in x chance to increase your speed greatly for x seconds but then cause you to "crash" reducing your speed by x seconds.

Consumables

Mysterious Ornament: The Christmas Cracker of this years Christmas (so its not just Christmas Cracker 3).  Description:  A mysterious ornament that fell off Santa's own tree.  It feels like something is inside, I wonder what it could be?

Christmas Star:  The jewel for this event (so its not just Jolly Jewel 3).  Description: A topper for a Christmas tree.  It contains the essence of Christmas itself, allowing it to be used once in an attempt to give a gun or item the blessing of Christmas.

Reindeer Whistle:  A Consumable that summons one of Santa's reindeer on lobby (Depending on which reindeer they could give you varying amounts of presents, coal/peppermint, or a rarer thing like a Christmas jewel or the Christmas Cracker type thing but they might also give you nothing or play a joke on you).  Description:  Hopefully the reindeer decides you've been nice and not naughty...

Unique Guns and Items

Spy-cicle: A godlike melee, the item from tf2. It could turn anyone killed with it into an ice statue or freeze them after x hits.

The Christmas Shopper: Comes with the trait/suffix Christmas Shopping which has a 1 in x chance to take a small amount of ammo, max hp or mobility from them and add it to your own.  Description:  What's mine is mine and what's yours is...well also mine.  I really need that present more than you!

Martha May's Christmas Lights Launcher:  shoots Christmas Lights at the target, wrapping them up and greatly reducing their mobility/blinding them for x seconds.  Description:  Did you really think you could beat me at Christmas Decorating, Betty Lou?

Winter Storm:  A gun that has a chance on hit to create an ice storm in the area that applies ice and frostbite to everyone inside of it with the severity of the debuff decaying the further from the center those effected are.

Cruelty of Jadis/Jadis: A unique gun/item that turns the killed target into an ice statue on death.  Desc: The power of the cruel ice queen resides in this gun.

Christmas Spirit: A godlike that drops with a new trait that plays a random christmas song that loops like chest sound so you cant stop it with stopsound, the snowbird trait, the drop ammo on limb hit trait, Rimy, Christmas Spirit and Growing Pains.  It has its damage done reduced to 1 damage a shot and has high recoil but has a high RPM and big clip.  Desc: You are going to feel the Christmas spirit, whether you like it or not.

Manifestation of Cocytus: A godlike or exotic katana. Unable to push with this weapon with right click activates the ability Wail of the Frozen. Wail of the Frozen freezes anyone hit with it in the last 60 seconds for 10-30 seconds and causes frostbite when the freeze effect ends, dealing a small amount of damage and slowing movement speed for its duration. Description: This blade was blessed by Cocytus, so that more souls who were frozen to death shall join his waters.

Gingerbread Man Cookie:  A cookie that explodes on impact when thrown.  Description:  Was it the Gingerbread Man or the Snowman that explodes...?

Kevin's Brick: A throwable item that knocks back and disorients the hit player.  Desc: Direct Hit!

Santa's Sack:  A useable item that takes up your primary/secondary slot but gifts you a random weapon with Christmas traits on it to use for the round.

Tier Ideas

Sugary:  A tier that comes with the trait/suffix Sugar High which can be used to increase your mobility greatly for 30 seconds at the cost of a decrease in accuracy and stability.  Has a long cooldown time.

Sweet Dream: A tier or gun that comes with a trait/suffix that has 1 in x chance to make the target see visions of sugar plums, candy canes and Christmas trees.

Snowman: A tier that has a chance on a kill to spawn a mini Snowman that gives you various random buffs.  Description:  Frosty is that you?

Silent Night:  A prim tier or godlike gun.  Comes with the trait Silence which has a 1 in x chance to mute the targets voice, chat and hearing for x seconds.  Description:  Shhhh, I’m trying to listen for Santa.

Cosmetic Ideas

Snowman Pet - a mini snowman that follows you around.

Candy Cane Aura - creates an aura in which little candy canes pop up.

Santa Pet -  a mini Santa follows you around.

Snow Storm Aura - creates a snow storm effect around you.

Christmas Tree Aura -  creates an aura around you where little Christmas trees pop up.

Elf Pet - a mini elf follows you around.

Boss Idea

Change Santa to the Grinch and have Santa in lobby with a quest to take back the presents stolen by the Grinch.

Bring back Krampus as the boss.

Minigame

Bring back the snowman hunt minigame if possible, it was fun.

Hey Rat-rush FRG slayers! With my love for the server and enjoyment with the content offered and all around with the community and everyone I meet I have decided from inspiration from The Black Parade's awesome maps to start mapmaking for the server. I have been practicing and getting better at using hammer and all of its goodness with the help of Parade. Today I wanna release out and inform everyone that I am releasing a new map to go into Boss Rush called Mori-Ortum. This map will hopefully take me to new heights (pun fully intended) with mapmaking and creating maps for either TTT or even new frg events.

I will disclaim as I'm tapping into more unique stuff into hammer map gimmicks such as moving parts of cover or obstacles to change the flow of the map will come in at a later date when I feel confident that they'll work as intended, also some audio and visual props will come in with it to help the map look more alive.

As said though this will be my first full map project for FRG and hopefully liked by the community by how it plays out. I love ya FRG and everyone in the community out there stay frosty and take care.

What really happened? My very first account name for the server was granabis. this could've been 4-5 years ago. My behavior to everyone was very toxic, very self-centered and I would argue with someone for lengths with no end, That was my very first ban offence, it was permanent with no chance to appeal, I've made it to where I can't really get anyone to side with me because people way back when know how I acted and how I wouldn't ever shut up, so my chance at an unban is slim, and I can't stop getting the urge to come back on even when people don't want me, I want to apologize over and over again for ban evading, but at what point can I get my second chance to not hide and have fun on the server with everyone else. I want it really badly. there'll be no more ban evasions, no more lies and hate. I want this to be my last try at getting back with everyone and to show I'm not such a dickhead anymore. I really enjoy this server Brassx and Head staff, I'm sorry, please consider my appeal, this is one server I'm really attached to and I'd hate to lose the chance to play it ever again. thank you for reading
